What happens if I choose the wrong countersink angle?
Consequences: 1. Wrong chamfer dimensions affecting assembly; 2. Higher cutting force causing vibration and chipping; 3. Shorter tool life. Note: the resulting chamfer angle is half the countersink included angle - e.g. a 90-degree countersink produces a 45-degree chamfer.
