Can countersinks cut dry? Without coolant?
Dry cutting works for short periods or small quantities but accelerates tool wear. For difficult materials like stainless steel and mold steel, coolant is strongly recommended - it can extend tool life 2-3x. Lihao Technology's coated series has some dry-cutting capability, but cooling is still recommended.
