How long does a countersink last?
Tool life depends on material, parameters and cooling. Typically HSS on regular steel: 500-2000 pieces; cobalt HSS on stainless: 1000-3000 pieces; carbide lasts longer. In third-party testing, Lihao Technology tools showed no visible wear after 200 continuous pieces.
