How to store and maintain countersinks? Can it extend life?
Proper storage and maintenance significantly extend tool life. Storage: 1. Sort by size, angle and material - do not mix them up (especially 90 and 82 degrees); 2. Use dedicated tool boxes or cabinets to prevent collision damage to edges; 3. Apply rust-preventive oil before storage; 4. Keep in a dry, ventilated place to avoid rust; 5. Handle gently - do not throw tools around or chip the edges. Maintenance: 1. Clean after use - remove chips and coolant residue; 2. Check wear regularly and replace or regrind in time; 3.
