How to choose angled-hole countersink angle? Where are 60/90/120 degrees used?
Same as standard countersinks - it depends on the screw standard and purpose: 60 degrees - shallow chamfer, deburring, thin sheets; 82 degrees - US standard screws (UNC/UNF imperial threads); 90 degrees - most common, national standard countersunk screws, general chamfering and deburring; 100 degrees - British BS countersunk screws; 110 degrees - special standards in some automotive and aerospace sectors; 120 degrees - deep chamfers, large countersunk holes, common in automotive. Not sure? Choose 90 degrees - it is the most versatile.
