Services: 1) Re-sharpening - restore worn edges to sharpness: edge grinding, angle correction, deburring; 2) Refurbishing - re-sharpening + re-coating, restoring performance close to new; 3) Inspection - dimension, angle and runout checks after sharpening. Scope: 1) cobalt HSS countersinks, spot facers, counterbores; 2) carbide countersinks; 3) similar hole-making tools; 4) light chipping can be repaired; severe chipping or bending - not worth it. Results: 1) normally worn tools return to 80%-95% of new performance; 2) 3-5 re-sharpenings depending on use and removal; 3) coating is lost after sharpening - re-coat for original life. Pricing: 1) re-sharpening - generally RMB 5-20 per tool by size and complexity; 2) re-coating - TiAlN RMB 10-30 per tool; 3) refurbishing (sharpening + coating) - RMB 15-50 per tool; 4) volume discounts - 20% off 10+, 30%-50% off 100+; 5) exact quotes from customer service by spec and quantity. Process: 1) ship tools to us (customer pays shipping); 2) we inspect and quote whether sharpening is worthwhile; 3) sharpen after confirmation; 4) return ship (we pay). Notes: 1) insure valuable tools; 2) confirm it is worth sharpening first - cheap tools may not pay off; 3) size changes slightly after sharpening (diameter shrinks) - keep separate from new tools.
