Are countersinks and chamfer milling cutters the same?

Not exactly. Countersinks are generally one-piece tapered spot facers for drill presses and machining centers, while chamfer milling cutters are indexable or solid cutters for milling machines used for chamfering and edge breaking. Their uses overlap; Lihao Technology can recommend the right tool for your equipment and process.
